About Us

This is a much coveted Junonia shell fragment found on a favorite stretch of Gulf Coast beach. As the founder and principal tour guide for Shell and Beach Walks, I've spent most of my life living on the coast and enjoying, as well as learning about the beach environment, including:

  •  Coastal Systems of Florida Master Naturalist Program designation from UF/IFAS University of Florida
  • BA Geosciences, Skidmore College
  • Shell Ambassador Certification from the Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum
  • Audubon Bird Steward
  • Sea Turtle Trackers volunteer

I look forward walking with you!

Best regards,

Wendy
