Loggerheads are the most common type of sea turtles on our coast. They can grow to 4 feet! Female sea turtles come back to lay their eggs on the same area of the Gulf Coast beach she was born. Find out more, including how to help keep these incredible, but endangered sea turtles safe.
There is not a specific bird called a seagull. Seagull is a general term for members of the gull family. Laughing gulls, herring gulls and ring billed gulls are the most common in this area. You'll find out how to tell them apart, and discover more about the birds that live on our coast.
